July 31st 2018 FL Nurse CE Renewal Bundle
COURSE PACKAGE INFORMATION
This 27-CE hour course renewal package contains the following courses:
· Florida Nursing Laws & Rules – 20 CE Hours
· Preventing Medical Errors – 2 CE Hours
· Domestic Violence – 2 CE Hour
· Recognizing Impairment in the Workplace – 2 CE Hours
· HIV Awareness – 1 CE Hour
It meets the continuing education requirements for registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, clinical nurse specialists, and advanced registered nurse practitioners (with the exception of the 3 CE hour requirement for Safe and Effective Prescription of Controlled Substances for ARNPs) in the state of Florida with licenses expiring on July 31st, 2018. This CE package also includes the first biennium renewal requirement of 1 hour of HIV/AIDS; the 2 CE hours of Recognizing Impairment in the Workplace, which is required every other renewal; the 2 CE hour requirement for Domestic Violence training, which is required every third biennium; and the requirement for 2 CE Hours in Recognizing Impairment in the Workplace that is required every other biennium. This package does not include 2 hours of Human Trafficking education because it is only required for licensees with licenses that expire after January 1st, 2019 but is not a requirement for the biennium ending on July 31st, 2018. This package does not include the 3 CE hour requirement for Safe and Effective Prescription of Controlled Substances required for ARNPSs.
To complete the package, students must simply download the course PDF that is available on the order confirmation page after purchasing (and also sent through e-mail, so please check your spam folder if you do not see your order confirmation in your inbox). Students must then read through the course syllabus (located directly on page #2 of the course document) and all of the courses contained in the PDF document. Next, students must complete one final exam via a link located at the end of the course document (multiple attempts are allowed). After successfully passing the exam with a 70% or higher, Harvest Field Institute of Learning LLC will report student’s completions to CE Broker no later than 48-hours, but we generally report same-day within minutes of receiving your exam. In addition, students may also instantly self-report their completions by uploading their course certificate into their CE Broker account.
