FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q1. Do you automatically report to CE Broker course completion or do I have to?
Answer: Yes. The instructor will make every effort to report students' course completion to CE Broker by 11:59 PM on the same date as the class itself (for live, hands-on classes) and within 48-hours of successful completion for online classes. Automatic reporting is conducted by the instructor directly through CE Broker's website (www.cebroker.com), and students can verify this completion by logging into their individual CE Broker account. Alternatively, students may also self-report with their certificates of completion immediately after they are received by uploading them into their individual CE Broker account online. In addition, the service of automated reporting to CE Broker is only provided to students who provide their correct license number(s) and are licensed massage therapists, nurses, or other healthcare professionals in the states of Florida and Georgia because they are currently the only two states that provide CE providers with the opportunity to automatically report students' course completion through their online CE Broker system. All students from other states must self-report course completions to their own regulatory boards.
Q2. Do I have to pass a test at any of your live massage classes to receive my certificate for the class?
Answer: No. Students will be assisted by the instructor during the practical, hands-on portion of the class to ensure competency. As a result, written testing will not be necessary. Per NCBTMB standards, students will receive certificates of completion to reflect this. However, students who complete all nine courses in the Healing Hydrotherapy Series and wish to become certified in hydrotherapy must pass the "Hydrotherapy Aptitude Examination" with a score of no less than 70%. Upon successful completion of this exam, they will be awarded with an HP (Hydrotherapy Practitioner) certification in hydrotherapy from Harvest Field Institute of Learning LLC. The only time a student is required to complete a test during one of our courses is for online classes only.
Q3. What is your refund policy?
Answer: Students reserve the right to withdraw from these classes at any time but forfeit a refund if they do not cancel at least four weeks before the class start date. (International classes must be cancelled at least 6-months before the class start date to receive a refund of program tuition, less their deposit; online classes are nonrefundable after purchase because students gain access to all course materials instantly through a PDF document directly after purchasing them.) The refund schedule for live courses offered in the United States is as follows:
Cancellation 30 days or more before the class start date: Full Refund of Class Tuition
(Minus a $25 administration fee)
Cancellation 21 days before the class start date: 50% Refund of Tuition
(Minus a $25 administration fee)
Cancellation 20 days or less before the class start date: NO REFUND
All withdrawal requests must be received in writing (through postal service or email), and must have a confirmation from the course instructor. Harvest Field Institute of Learning LLC will not be held responsible for letters that are lost in the mail or emails that do not arrive in our inbox. If a student does not receive a confirmation from the course instructor or Harvest Field Institute of Learning LLC within 48-hours (for emails) or 5 business days for letters sent via U.S. postal service, we strongly advise you to call our direct number (904-584-8365) to determine the status of your request.
Q4. Do you sell my personal information to third-parties?
Answer: No. We will never rent or sell your information to anyone. Only the regulatory bodies that, by law, are allowed to access your course completion information (i.e. CE Broker or the Florida Board of Massage Therapy) will receive notification of the number of CE hours and course(s) you successfully finish.
Q5. If I am licensed in a state other than Florida, will your classes count towards my massage therapy license renewal in my state?
Answer: Yes and no. This depends on the laws in your state, which are subject to change at any time. In every state, it is the responsibility of the massage therapist to verify what their current requirements are for license renewals. However, the instructor, Mary-Rachel Clark, is approved by both the Florida and Georgia Boards of Massage Therapy (#50-17267) and the NCBTMB (#799) to teach all nine of the Healing Hydrotherapy Series massage continuing education classes. While many states do accept most continuing education classes approved by the NCBTMB, some do not. We try to update our list of states that accept classes in the Healing Hydrotherapy Series for purposes of meeting the massage therapy license renewal requirements, but the list is not conclusive and is subject to change. (This list can be seen on the bottom of our About Us page.) However, please always verify acceptance with your state's board of massage therapy before taking any continuing education class with us or any other educational provider to ensure reciprocity.
Q6. What form of payment do you accept for course tuition?
Answer: We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Money Orders, and Cashier's Checks. Credit card payments can be made on this website by going to the Registration page and adding a class or seed purchase into your shopping cart. You must then click where it says "CHECKOUT" in the upper right-hand corner of the page where your shopping cart link is located. Alternatively, students may also mail either a Money Order or Cashier's Check made out to Harvest Field Institute of Learning LLC to the following address:
Harvest Field Institute of Learning LLC
130 Coridor Road
Unit #572
Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida 32004
Q7. Do you have a loyalty program?
Answer: Yes. We have what is called our "125 Club", which was established to reward our repeat students' efforts of continuously expanding their knowledge in the field of hydrotherapy. This is a members-only club, and entitles repeat HFIOL students to discounted tuition pricing on our 12-credit hour course offerings.
Q8. Do I have to bring anything with me to the classes?
Answer: Yes. All students must bring certain supplies with them that are listed on both the Class Schedules and Registration page. (These are typically minimal and only require a massage table, sheets, and a mattress protector, but you must verify what materials are required before attending the class.) If for any reason you are unable to bring any items listed (such as a massage therapy table, mattress protector, etc.), please contact us in advance so that we can try to accommodate your needs. We understand that some students fly from other cities/states/countries to attend these classes, which is why every effort will be made to provide a massage table and/or other supplies for you if you are traveling by plane or do not currently own any of them.
Q9. Do you offer private group classes?
Answer: Yes. We have established the following pricing tiers for private group classes:
Semi-private Class (6-12 CE Hours): $199 per person with a minimum of 6 participants. (For classes smaller than 10 participants, we do require the authorization to make the class open to the public to fill at least four more seats.) For this class, an HFIOL teacher will travel to your location to host the class at your facility.
Private Class (6-12 CE Hours): $1990 for the entire group (maximum of ten participants). The class will be completely private and not open to the public. For this class, an HFIOL teacher will travel to your location to host the class at your facility.
Teacher Travel Fee for Private & Semi-Private Classes: $50 for cities between Jacksonville to Daytona Beach, Florida; $75 for New Smyrna Beach to Titusville, Florida; $150 for any other cities in the state of Florida. Please contact us by emailing info@hfiol.org for out-of-state pricing for private group classes.
Special Note for Groups: Regardless of the course length (6 or 12 CE Hours), all courses are held in a 1-day format. For example, if booking a private group class for a 6 CE course, the class would be held from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. If booking a private group class for a 12 CE course, the class would be held from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The above pricing is the same regardless of whether we teach a 6-credit hour course or a 12-credit hour course. However, if you prefer to have us instruct a 12-hour course over two days instead of one, the cost would be double the amount listed above because it would count as two separate classes.
Q10. Do you offer private classes for individuals?
Answer: Yes. We have developed the following pricing tiers to accommodate private classes for individuals:
$299 per 6-Hour CE Course (maximum one participant): The class will be held at one of our HFIOL teacher locations in one of the following Florida cities: Ponte Vedra Beach, Palm Coast, or Duck Key.
$499 per 6-Hour CE Course (maximum one participant): The class can be held in any city in the state of Florida at the student’s home or place of practice. The teacher travel fee is $50 for cities between Jacksonville to Daytona Beach, Florida; $75 for New Smyrna Beach to Titusville, Florida; and $150 for any other cities located within the state of Florida.
