2017 Massage & Nurse CE Trip to Iceland:
Earn your live massage therapy or nursing continuing education (CEUs) in Europe--the birthplace of Hydrotherapy!  Your trip will begin on your flight to Iceland where you will learn basic phrases and a brief history of this enchanting country where legends of elves and trolls abound.  Shortly after your arrival in Keflavik, students will be whisked away to the Blue Lagoon--an outdoor geothermal pool of sea and fresh water that is heated by a volcano and contains silica, algae, and minerals.  Afterwards, enjoy a beautiful ride to your hotel room, which is located just a short walk from the major attractions in downtown Reykjavik, which you will be free to explore for the rest of the day or possibility book a northern lights tour that evening (highly recommended).  The following morning, students will enjoy a hearty breakfast and then have the entire day to spend sightseeing, book a local tour, or even venture outside the city on their own to explore the magnificent landscapes that make Iceland so captivating and the backdrop of countless films.

During the trip, students will study the extraordinary benefits of Pelotherapy and learn how to perform a "Fire & Ice" body treatment--inspired by the cold Icelandic glaciers, fiery volcanoes, and the mystical Blue Lagoon.  Furthermore, the incredible effects of Thalassotherapy will also be covered to provide participants with a well-rounded study of hydrotherapy in Iceland.  In addition, attendees can also practice their newly acquired language skills while touring the beautiful city of Reykjavik, going on sight-seeing tours, or experiencing the many thermal waters Iceland has to offer during their four days of free time. (The last two free days are consecutive, which provide students additional time to truly explore Iceland on their own and at their leisure.)

After enjoying a week of exploration and learning, you will head back home to spread your knowledge of hydrotherapy, the Icelandic language, and tales of this magical trip to Europe.
